Trust in You
Today, while driving to pick up my daughter from nursery, I was listening to the Gospel channel and that’s when I heard that song. That song which made me listen to it over and over again and almost made me late to pick up my daughter. That song which made me fall in love with Jesus all over again. The words are so easy to understand but they are so powerful that it makes you think about your walk with Christ.
The song I am talking about is sung by Anthony Brown & group therapy and is called TRUST IN YOU. It starts with these words:
You did not create me to worry.
You did not create me to fear.
But, You created me to worship daily.
So, I’m a leave it all right here.
Let’s look at this for a moment. How powerful is this? I mean, we were created with so much love, accuracy and we are not supposed to worry as it says in Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
And another scripture in Matthew 6:27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? It’s so true. By worrying we may add more grey hair and wrinkles and waste our time rather than use it wisely. Look, how beautiful is 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
We were given all the power by God and the only thing He is asking from us is to worship Him and be faithful in His promises.
I hope this post encourages you to stay faithful and see God’s love every day.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Lots of love, Christina xxx
PS: Please share which scriptures you turn to when it comes to fear and worry. Here is the link to the song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=va5I6MOF-8M
